Due to her weak heart, Suzune Miyama was bedridden for most of her childhood. However, despite her illness, she had always dreamed of becoming an idol, and her chance finally came when the legendary idol, Akari Amazawa, was born in a grueling competition known as the Dai 7 times selection project. Anxious and pounding Suzune faces the qualifying rounds. To her dismay, her singing wowed her judges and her fellow contestants, but her Suzune nerves overwhelmed her, and froze midway through her performance. She recovers quickly but stumbles too big to lose the championship favorites and is disqualified. Or so it seems - Seira Kurusu, the girl Suzune lost, plans to drop her from the selection project because she believes Suzune is a more talented singer and deserves the right to compete. Suzune is surprised at the decision but promises to meet Seira again as a top idol. She prepares for the difficult obstacles that lie ahead.
